How does the BowlBob tool work?

SMOTHER -- Some dank bowls are meant to be savored, so don't let the cherry burn wastefully like incense. Also, if you need to be discrete and not stink up the place, BowlBob really helps to limit the smoke and smell.

(1) Pick the wooden "bob" attachment that fits best for sitting atop your glass bowl -- screw it onto the main body.
(2) Use the included sandpaper to shape the edges of the bob to give an even better fit onto your specific glass bowl.
(3) Anytime you want to extinguish your burning cherry, simply rest your BowlBob over your bowl and it will safely extinguish your embers and prevent any wasted smoke. It's wood, not plastic, so it won't melt!
(4) After the bob gets dirty with time and use, order replacement bobs here at BowlBob.com.
(5) BowlBob will eventually pay for itself in all the unwasted budz you aren't burning like incense.

POKE -- Why would anybody poke a glass bowl with a metal poker and chip away small shards of glass? Wood is the only way to poke your bowl. Even better, why carry around dirty pokers in your pocket? BowlBob holds most commercial toothpicks or bamboo skewers, or try BowlBob's own birch skewers that don't splinter into shards like bamboo.

(1) Take your pick of one of the included toothpicks or skewers, your choice.
(2) Insert the poker you choose into the open tube of the BowlBob tool. Push it in firmly to give the best possible grip.
(3) When the bowl is cashed, use your BowlBob to to poke out the ash and debris -- STOP using your fingernails, lighters, or household tools.
(4) When the poker is too dirty or you are transporting it, just remove the poker and put in a new one when you are ready.
(5) After multiple uses, the poker-holder tube will become worn and lose grip. That's the time to replace your BowlBob.

CAP -- Sometimes its just convenient to have a fully-loaded bowl ready on-the-go. In that case, use the optional silicone strap to secure the BowlBob over your glass bowl. It will keep the budz inside the bowl while you're transporting it.

(A) [OPTION 1 - if you don't plan to use the strap] -- If you don't use the strap, feel free to remove the brass strap-screw on top of the BowlBob tool to give you a flat resting surface.

(B-1) [OPTION 2 -- using the storage strap] -- To use the storage strap, first get it ready to fit your specific bowl. Push the strap-screw through one hole of the strap. Stretch the strap around your bowl until its back at the strap-screw, and mark where you need to punch a hole.
(B-2) Use one of the included birch skewers to push a hole through the spot where you marked.
(B-3) Cut off any excess length of strap. The strap is now ready to use!

MORE TIPS --
(a) To give an even more secure fit, cut a slit in the section of silicone strap that goes over the bottom of your glass bowl -- so it will split slightly and grab your bowl even better.
(b) Colors vary -- you can use any third-party silicone strap if you need it to be longer or prefer a different color.
(c) To be clear, ONLY use the silicone strap when there is a wooden bob attached to your BowlBob.

Can I choose my color?

Colors vary and cannot be chosen. We strive to be transparent as a business, so as you support us and we grow in volume, we will continually seek feedback on how to improve including how to make color-selection cost-affordable.

Do you sell anything to help me deep-clean my glass bowl?

Our Cleaning Accessory Kit is great to pair with your favorite cleaning solutions (i.e. isopropyl alcohol, salt water, or surfactants/soaps). In addition to long cotton swabs and wooden pokers, the 9" long twisted-wire scraping tool is exceptional for reaching all the inner nooks and crannies of your glass bowl. As our company grows, we plan to offer even more cleaning kits and innovative tools to help you maintain your glass pieces..

What wooden bob sizes are available?

The BowlBob MAIN KIT includes our dab (0.5" diameter) , small (0.75" diameter), and medium (1" diamater) bobs. This surprisingly covers >90% of glass bowls you'll find at your local head shop. For even bigger glass bowl, you can order the large (1.5" diameter) or extra-large (2" diameter) bobs at our online shop.

Can't I make this at home for cheaper?

Haha, this type of MacGuyver mentality is what led to the creation of BowlBob. And, trust, BowlBob is not founded in greed. But, our company ambitions extend beyond the BowlBob tool. We also want to be your go-to for even more future innovations and convenient one-stop-shop accessories. So, we are priced to support our employees, our environment, and our growth (see Our Mission).

The simplest answer is that we sell a RETAIL 10-pack that offers:
(1) A 30% discount (Tier 1 wholesale);
(2) An eye-catching retail display box that is shallow to fit in your glass bowl cabinets;
(3) Each individual BowlBob in the 10-pack is in retail UPC-code packaging.

My BowlBob has minor imperfections -- what should I do?

We at BowlBob try to be transparent as a company. As our manufacturing remains young, we hand-craft each and every BowlBob tool. This will inevitable lead to imperfections and inconsistencies. This reminds you that even your BowlBob was crafted by a human. Minor imperfections should not affect the functionality, and each BowlBob goes through interim and final QC checks. While we do not accept refunds, contact us at info@bowlbob.com within 14 calendar days if you feel that any imperfections render your BowlBob unusable, and we will consider replacing your BowlBob case-by-case.

What is your refund policy?

Because wood is porous and highly affected by the storage environment (temperature, humidity, etc), we DO NOT accept refunds. However, if you feel there are mistakes in your order, we will consider requests within 14 calendar days with a valid reason -- contact info@bowlbob.com with your issue and details.
